How to remove a Barkbox subscription

Barkbox is a subscription service catering themed toys, treats and accessories to your dog once a month. You can choose either the classical assortment of two toys, two treats and one chew or a customized box based on your dog’s needs. All treats and chews are made in the USA and Canada. The toys offered by the service are crafted in close collaboration with Barkbox designers. Subscription curators take into account gender, size, breed (optional), month and year of birth and allergies of your pup to ensure your pet can enjoy their box to the fullest.

Recurring Payments & Delivery Costs

There are three size categories available:

  • Small (for dogs under 20 pounds)
  • Medium (dogs 20 to 50 pounds)
  • Large (dogs over 50 pounds)
  • Extra Small Box (dogs under 9 pounds), adjusted by Customer Support Team.

Subscription options

Monthly Billing:

  • 1-month Classic Plan – $35;
  • 1-month Classic Extra Toy – $44 ($35 +$9 Extra Toy);
  • 6-month Classic Plan – $26/month;
  • 6-month Classic Extra Toy – $33/month ($26 +$7 Extra Toy);
  • 12-month Classic Plan – $23/month;
  • 12-month Classic Extra Toy – $30/month ($23 +$7 Extra Toy).

Upfront billing:

  • 6-month Classic Plan – $139;
  • 6-month Classic Extra Toy – $178 ($124 +$54 Extra Toy);
  • 12-month Classic Plan – $234;
  • 12-month Classic Extra Toy – $299 ($191 +$108 Extra Toy).

Barkbox packages are shipped within the first two weeks of every month. Shipping is FREE for customers in the contiguous 48 states. If you are from Canada, Alaska or Hawaii there is an $8/month shipping charge.

Billing Schedule & Cancellation Policy

All Barkbox subscriptions are auto-renewable. Your card is charged at the end of the subscription period. You will be charged for the first time as soon as you sign up for the service. After that, the billing date will be every 1st, 3rd or 9th of each month. Please, check out the upcoming charges at your account page.

You can cancel your Barkbox subscription immediately at any time. To stop your subscription online, do the following:

  • Log in to your account;
  • Scroll to the ‘Subscription Settings’ section of your account page. Click the box to edit information;
  • Disable the auto renewal.

Your subscription will be cancelled completely but the remaining boxes will still be delivered within the subscription period.
